soldering wires
i cant remember which solder do i need to solder wire to ether ? i have a plastic rosin core solder and the other one says 50% tin and 50% lead. it doesnt say anything about a core init. i would suppose it needs flux with it. which one do i use to solder wires back onto the nuetral safety switch. the terminal came off the back of it.

re: soldering wires
Use the "rosin core solder" for the wires it should be around 63% tin and 37% lead or close anyways for best results.
The 50/50 will need flux alright if is doesn't say it is rosin core... It takes more heat, would be good for pipes or maybe battery cable to battery clamp type terminal...

re: soldering wires
Remove any flux afterwards or you're inviting corrosion to set in... especially if the flux is acid-based. I think a lot of the modern fluxes are water soluble, or can be removed with isopropyl alcohol.
