Dennis Carpenter has them... Page 36 ? but they look different then the one you have a picture of... The one DC has looks like the one that was on my 68 Mustang when I got it 30yrs ago... that one Dallas Mustang has looks like it is metal and the one DC has and the one I have for the stang is plastic...

My truck is missing its clamp also...

So anyone know which style is correct for our trucks???? :?

The first style, I believe... the second plastic style was just what it says -- a replacement.

I got one of the original style coated metal ones from NPD last year. I don't think they have them anymore, but I like the looks of it over the plastic style that was on there when I got it (the 2nd style).

the plastic one that most of the major vendors sell is not "correct" for our trucks. they are for the 73-79 trucks, but work on ours. the plastic coated metal ones are correct, but i'm not sure if the one i posted is quite the same-sure looks like it though. it is for mustangs, but they ran the 24f batteries as well and so i would think the dimensions would be the same, here is an original one.
they are only 5.99. i might just buy one to compare to mine.

Cool

I was thinking that the plastic one didn't have enough flat area for the fender support bracket...
