Re: wiring harness plugs
After reviewing your pic's and reviewing the diagrams. Here is what I came up with
pic #1 Bl/green stripe --------power to all gauges from the ignition switch-----wire # 297 or 30 thru 30E ignition diagram ----it is probably just an extra wire if you need one
Pic#2 Green/black stripe ---- on my truck that wire if you ground it the brake light in the left corner of the dash comes on.----- and I also have a wire that color going to the bright and dim switch as well
Pic#3 Orange/Yellow and black ---- No answer yet
Pic#4 red/yellow stripe---------Should go to the bright and dim switch-----wire#15 on the blinker schematic
Blue ----------------------- Goes from the turn signal switch to dash---- wire #44 on the blinker schematic
that is what I come up with after reviewing all the diagrams

Re: wiring harness plugs
i figured out the third pic,the orange/yellow stripe goes to the ins.cluster where there is another plug thats not plugged into any thing and the black wire goes on down the harness to the passenger side somewhere

Re: wiring harness plugs
Look at the 69 diagrams, the 68 and 69 are the same... One thing to remember is that there are several different styles of wire harnesses in each year. It depends on the options the truck has (like full gauges, marker lights, camper wiring, etc...)
