dash pads

 why bother? just fill in all the holes, smooth it out, primer, and paint.

I sent my dash out to be recovered about 2 weeks ago. I am having it done in a med-dark blue, 2 piece and having it stitched with white thread across the dash where it folds over. Told him i was in no hurry, so when i get it back, i will post a pic of it.

How bad does a dash have to be before they cannot recover and what is the approximate cost?

Thinking of doing this instead of getting new.

a place here in town, said to just recover one, it would run about $150 to $170. I had some cracks, weak points and doing a little different cover, so mine will probably run around $250.
