Dash light

When i turn on my lights my dash light dont come on but you hit the high beam the high beam light come on. When you first start it the idoit lightscome on and go off but the main light to see the gauges does not come on. The date on the back of the cluster is march 23 1970.

turn the knob on the headlight switch.

If its not the knob, the wire on your headlight switch is light blue with a red stripe make sure you have power to it from the switch.

it not the knob i check it and it is getting power.

All the bulbs might be burned out if not that I might have a cluster for ya

change the headlight dimmer switch.

Replace the whole switch the dimmer isnt replaceable

Fordman that doesn't affect the dash lights it will reak havoc on the headlights only if going bad.

Did you check for a break in the feed to the dash lights ? Isnt yours the panel without the circuit board or is it hardwired as the 69 version

I check the feed back electic is getting to it. Still nothing went to junkyard today got a 70 gauge cluster for $10.
