rear view mirror
The bracket in my truck that holds the rearview mirror was broke when i got it. Does anyone know where to get another bracket? i think it holds the visors also..Or any tips on installing an after market mirror? I bought one from the autoparts store, cleaned the windshield pretty good, stuck it on there, and after about three days it fell off. Im sure the sun had something to do with it. Id rather find another bracket with a mirror, but if i have to use an aftermarket one, i need to figure out how to keep it on the windshield. Thanks..67 ford f100

Re: rear view mirror
i use the 2 part glue kits. with the cleaner and the glue. to glue mirrors to the windshield. you have to clean the windshield let that dry. put glue on the metal tab. and stick it to the windshield. then you place tape over that for atleast 24 hours for it to dry. and then you can install the mirror. stay away from the gell stuff. it is too think and will let the mirror mount float in the glue and then the mirror will wiggle with the truck vibrations.

Re: rear view mirror
I just ordered a rear view mirror from LMC Truck. It is just a standard mirror and comes with a bracket and they also sell separate brackets. They sell the original style mirrors but they are around $50.
