How does the weather stripping under the door sill attach to the floor/body of the truck? There isn't a clear ridge that the weather stripping attaches to like around the rest of the door

It went down nicely after putting it over the rail on the sill plate. Hard as heck to shut the door now? Definetly air tight.
My only mistake after looking back was that I put the weather stripping on well before I ordered the sill plates. So, when the weather stripping went on I didn't know that the rail was on the sill plate so I cut the stripping short of the floor line (sill plate). Now I have two joints instead of one:( Live and learn
