Door stuck closed from inside only

hey all, quick Q for you guys. my door on the truck is only hard to open from the inside, opens an closes super nice an easy from the outside but as soon as i need to get out of the thing i have to shoulder ram the *******

any ideas

the tit on the handle may be worn down and not fully opening the latch.

Inside the interior door paddle latch is a 3/4" (approx.) tip that presses against the inner door latch mechanism and it opens the door. If/when that point breaks off, you'll not be able to open the door easily or at all.

tit nub the thing sticking out from the handle. the stub that sticks above the metal piece in this picture. can get worn down. metal or plastic handles will do it. the rod inside the door can could bend. the latch itself can crack and still be there to barely operate the rod to open the latch.
