bucket seats.

Post by have blue 72 »

I've been thinking and shopping for buckets seats. Looked at the Cad drawings for the brackets on this site, that's a great service. But the question is 66-77 bronco seats and brackets work on my 72 f-100? and are the early mustang seats the same as the optional bucket seats offered on the bumps? Thanks for any help. Got something like this for sale please let me know....

Yes, the early '65-66 Mustang seats are the same as the optional bucket seats offered on the Bumps. I was thinking of getting the seat brackets for buckets as well.

I suggest late 68 and 69 Mustang seats which have headrests, the same bolt pattern, and are more comfortable than the 65-66. The 69-70 high back Mustang seats are cool too.

My 65's seat rides like an upholstered park bench. I did a cross-country trip (PA to CA) and my azz was sore for three days afterwards.
