My White Gauge Cluster

Post by 69Ford »

Here's some pictures of the Gauge Cluster I redid in white gauges. Aftermarket bezel I could not find a good original. Have the original plan on restoring. Let me know what people Think.

Looks great! Did you buy the gauges somewhere or paint them? Also, do you not like the aftermarket bezel? looks great with the new gauges!

They are overlay's made by White Gauges I found on Ebay. They slip over the needle so no need to take the gauge apart. I also painted the black plate that goes over the gauges white.
The aftermarket bezel is slightly different than the original does not have the ribs in the center black area's I will try to get pictures of both so you can see. Otherwise it is a good quility
bezel. Don't know if all OEM's came with the ribs but I like the look better. Also does anyone know if LED lights will work in my cluster. I would like to see what blue LED's would look like
with the white. My Spare bedroom is becoming storage for bumpside parts.

Oh ok thats pretty neat. yeah I see what your talking about the rib, but it looks great nonetheless. As far as the LED's I'm not 100% sure, but I am pretty sure I have seen some guys on here use them before. I wouldn't mind seeing some installed.

Well done! I don't think The Boss would be pleased if I used a spare bedroom for storing extra bump parts, though. But I do have to be fair -- most of my spare parts are for the frame/engine/trans, not the interior! Oh, that grease stain? No, that was there when we moved in! Don't you remember? Yeah, right ...
