Got a major trans leak on my 70 F250 with 360 and C6. It leaks really bad from the bottom of bell housing when parked. I can lose a quart over a couple of weeks just siting. I finally got the tranny down, thinking it was going to be a quick r&r front seal. But, I pulled the converter and it looks dry. The converter is dry and there's no drip line from the stator seal. The leak looks like it's coming from bolts, but they're all tight. Any thoughts on this? Am I just gonna have to bite the bullet and rebuild it? I've got another C6 sitting on the bench I'm rebuilding for my Torino, but it's a 460 unit, so I have no choice but to rehab this one. It sucks because truck sat for several years with no trans leak under it, then last year, I bought it and it immediately started leaking.
Thoughts, Advice?
