Not all hammers are = ?
Saw these at a tow show Wilton 3PCBASH B.A.S.H Carrying Case Hammer Kit and wanted a set to try them out, Old trusty hammer was doing OK till we gave it a try over the weekend on various things we do here in the yard,, with a good chisel it knocked out those hard rivets on the frame easier than before,, stuck brake drums and axles made life easier. They have a good website with a lot other tools.. Has anyone else bought these as well ??? So all hammers are not the same ? also I seen on their web site that the will pay a bounty if you break it

I use a 3lb brass headed American Hammer at work. It's has an aluminum handle and has been nearly indestructible the past seven years but is finally due for replacement. New one is $70, not a bad investment for it's use and duty. The retired one is coming home for a refurb to 2.5 lb and shop duty.

And I wonder why I have early carpal tunnel symptoms and how much it hurts to hammer out rivets and d things using conventional ball peen hammers.

Force is mass x velocity. Big hammer doesn't need to move as fast to do the same work.
