Eastwood Welder

Post by IN2FORD »

Anyone have one of these? I am looking for a welder specifically to use on my truck. Bought to C notch. I had a line on a good used 140 Hobart but it sold before I could get to it. So I have been looking at the Eastwood 135. Just wondering if anyone on here had experience with these.

Popular Mechanics gave it 4 stars out of 5.

I read that article. It's one of the reasons I thought I would consider it along with the price.

I have the 175 that came with the spool gun. Had it for about a year. The only complaint is the duty cycle is somewhat low, yet in general, I'm content with it and would buy it once more.

Eastwood is a decent brand. If budget is a problem, I would look for a used Lincoln or Miller
