I don't have any info on car radios, but according to Keith (creator of this website) the 1978 & 79 truck AM/FM radios will fit. Here is his thread on this:

Take a look at the retro sound stereos. They have bluetooth and look very vintage.

I had mine converted to am/FM with Bluetooth,aux in, HD,USB.
Was done by r&b vintage auto radio out of Tennessee.

Take a look and see what ya all think. Nothing better than having the original radio but with all the modern goodies.
Aurora design is who makes the components that are used to do the conversion. All usa made, Richard at r&b is a great guy and stands by his work. Lot of other dealers are not standing by their work for warranty purposes.
