Thanks guys! Sorry it took a while to reply but I didn't get an email notice. Anyway, the shifter is a Lokar 'radical' 32" for a C6. They make a 23" and a 16" one too. They're all offered with a single bend or a swan neck double bend like mine.

The EZ kit is just that...easy. You can just throw the harness at the truck and it installs itself! Seriously though, it's really pretty simple. It's all GM color coded (all black wiring is available but I don't recommend it) and each wire is labeled every 5 or 6 inches. Do yourself a favor and buy a nice stripper/crimper. Mine clamps down, cuts, and strips the wire end all in one squeeze. It made it much more pleasurable. I've installed Painless Wiring kits too and they're roughly the same install. DO NOT ignore the fusible link or the alternator bypass if your alt. is a high output!!! Also, the EZ is less $$$ but the instructions are not great. As a back up, the Painless manual is available online. I ended up printing a few pages from it to clear up the less than helpful parts of the EZ manual.MadMaxetc wrote:What do you think of the EZwire kit? Good quality?
I am looking at getting one for my Slick.
