beware of harbor freight

Post by customcrewcab »

i order this pump on may 8th http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/D ... mber=91982

never got it and had to call them to find out its back order intil june 29th.
it took the a month to mail me out somthing saying its back order and they do have my email address. so if you order somthing from them just know there site does not let you know its not in stock and it might be 2 months before they even see it. the another 2 weeks for them to ship it to you. i still have no clue when i am going to get it.

Where in AZ are you. I would just go to one of the stores and ask to speak to a manager.

the stores have nothing to do with the website from what i was told. i have had some good luck with central machine equipment. i bought there 14inch wood band saw for 225 in the store and put a metal blade in it. we cut 5/8 " plate with it with no problem. the air compressor was given to me when it was only like a year old from freinds dad who bought a bigger one. that was like 4 years ago so i am in no big hurry. i just like to know when i order somthing that i am going to get it within the 2 weeks like the website says. not 2 months later. i thought it was took it from mu yard. i would be nice to have it right now.

Gotcha :D

I was thinking the sqeaky wheel getting the grease theory.
Tell the knuckleheads you are losing money without the part and I'll bet they give you a deep discount or a suitable replacement.

That little trailer I bought to haul home the bed I bought from Keith had a questionable hub on it. I bought it Nashville and didnt have time to go back down South to that store. I stoppped at the store in Kansas City on my way and they replaced the whole tire, hub and wheel assembly. No question asked.
