Smoking some out of the left bank though, my valve seals are bad in this engine, it loads up pretty easily, but it looks like it's time to change them now.
I had forgotten that the brake booster had failed right before parking the truck, it has a pretty bad vacuum leak.
Still recovering from the Paying my Dues season, but in a month or two I'm going to take a look at the budget and see if it's in the cards to tag and insure this truck, it'd be nice to drive the old girl again.
I have the truck tagged and insured for the first time in nearly 7 years!
And wouldn't you know it; the doggone H*lley is flooding out
again. Get to pull it out and apart again.
Got a replacement booster ready to install.
Have a pretty major service to due before I put her on the road again; we had a minor flood on the area of property where it was parked, water got up to the hubs. So I'll pull all the wheels off and check the brakes and pack the bearings. Then inspect and grease everything.
Sad it came to this, I had this truck dialed in so well; now it's like starting over again...
