Re: F600 gauge size question.
the places where the tach and vacuum gauges usally go are 3 3/4 across. a 5 inch gauge will fit but it will be larger than the places where they could usually be cut out at.

Re: F600 gauge size question.
So would 3-3/8th guages be a better fit?

Re: F600 gauge size question.
I used a 3 1/8" in mine and it fit well once the hole was cut. 3 3/8" will fit, but you will be cutting into the outer lip of the hole, the 3 1/8" works better because the cut is just inside the outer bump of the hole.

Re: F600 gauge size question.
Here is mine with a 3 1/8" tach installed... There is a bit of glare, but you can see how the bezel of the gauge fits just inside the outer lip.

Re: F600 gauge size question.
Cool guys thanks for the help. I was going to use the 5" tach and speedo but I think they would be to big to fit.

Re: F600 gauge size question.
The speedo hole in the center is a different size then the 2 side holes.. It is a bit bigger, but a 5" is still too big for it as you would have to cut into the smaller gauge holes around it. The speedo that Ford used is no where near the size of any standard aftermarket gauge you can get today. You could go with an aftermarket speedo in the 3" range, but you would have to do some fabrication to make it fit as the center hole is too big for any of the 3" speedos... I kept the stock F600 gauges and just used an aftermarket tach. You could replace the smaller gauges with the inner workings of new gauges like Thunderfoot did in another thread on here, but I dont have an answer for you on the speedo.
