Get the adapter for your year vehicle and it works good. I have used the same Grant wheel in 4 different trucks now. Nothing like a wood wheel.

Nice wheel.

nice wheel you have there.I was looking at foam grip wheel but i am concerned if a foam grip will be compatible to my manual steering.I know it will tale a little more force to turn wheel.Just thinking that the foam might not last.

how hard is it to put new wood and rivets in the wheels made like that. forming the wood is the easy part. but where woul dyou get those brass rivets and how would you put them back on?

My cousin used to do custom wooden gun stalks, I wonder if it's similar?

I used this same wheel in my 67 F100 with manual steering and had no trouble. Even parallel parking and 3 point turnarounds were doable. The thing about the real wood wheels is they don't get hot in the summer and they don't get cold in the winter. Good luck.

I tried one on my 65 years back with manual steering. A few days later I changed back to the big old stock wheel. Man that 65 was a bear with the smaller wheel.
