Dwight Yoakam
I'm driving to Primm this weekend to see Dwight Yoakam in concert. Nobody plays country like Dwight!

Love the songs, music and voice of that Bakersfield Boy myself. Wish I was going...

Will do, Larry
The crossover stuff they try to pass off as country music these days just doesn't cut it for me.

Hadn't heard anything from Dwight in a long time, thanks for sharing Bobby.
Didn't know he was from California either.

Re: Dwight Yoakam
You're in for it for sure..... Best concert I have ever seen was Dwight. Along toward the end of an already great show, he turned his band loose and just played 15 minutes all by himself. The man can play. Caught him and Buck one time at the Crystal Palace not long before Buck went to play with Don Rich again. Dwight's a helluva actor too, I see him on stage and forget he's an actor, see him acting and forget he's one of the best things ever to play a stage.

That's pretty awesome. I'd like to see him. On a side note I was in Yoakum, Tx the other day.
