Steering shaft
Trying to put together my 1968 f 100 ranger , automatic c6 , ford power steering box ...I need the correct steering shaft,mine must be for a different year ,it's to long ,,please help ?
HAD A CHEVY,CHASED THE RUST ,CAME TO MY SENSES,BOUGHT MY FORD

Yes, your steering wheel shaft will be too long because you probably had a bendix style steering gear.
Check this tutorial out, you might be able to do the work yourself.
