So here is the short story.
I picked up a 1979 Dana 60 HP for my 68 F250 and I ran into a snag.
During the rebuild I determined the original brake caliper brackets were pretty worn so I looked online and ran across I pretty nice set of brackets listed to fit 76 thru 92 Dana 60's so I bought them. However I was unaware that the brackets and calipers changed at some point and the ones I received are not identical to my 78-79 brackets. My assumption is they are from a later 60 say late 80's due to the way the caliper fits. "V" Slots versus the "square" style on my 60. The question I have is how can I determine what year bracket I have and if I can still use these brackets if I purchase the correct calipers?
Thanks,
