explorer bucket seats!!!!

Post by 1970f100x »

Ok, so I just picked up these sweet explorer bucket seats from like a '97. And I really want to put them in my 1970 f100. Is there anyway this will work? It has all the electrical stuff working too.

Theres always a way to work, you can get the electrical to work too if you got the brackets. You just need to be trained in the fine art of welding.

I don't know how to weld. I was hoping i could drill some new holes and work with the bolts.

You could do that, but I don't like having to drill knew holes in the floor of the cab so I welded some brackets. But yea, do what you know what needs to be done for you to like it.

So there is a good chance I can get these bad boys bolted in? Also, I want the mechanics on the seat to work i have the bracket attached, all there is is a possitive and negative wire, do you know how i can wire that up to make it work?

run a power wire to it from the fuse box side terminals and put a inline fuse in there.

Yea, I used to have bronco 2 buckets. Worked nice, but they didn't give much padding so I went back to a bench.
