302 power steering bracket

Post by bjde0b »

I think I need one like in the picture. I am heaving a headache swapping radiator since it started leaking. First I had to replace the water pump to get the outlet on the wrong side. Autozone had the wrong water pump in the box. Now trying to get power steering on, my old bracket won't work with new pump.

All this after the first radiator was too small. I went with the American eagle radiator.

Anyway, back to the bracket.

I didn't ever hear back from Mr. Murphy. Is there anybody else out there that may have this bracket?

Are you talking about just the bracket in the bottom photo or both brackets, the one that holds the pump too?

I think I will probably need both. I am changing from a Torino water pump to the truck, which is affecting my brackets. I have an aluminum bracket on the pump currently, but I don't know if it will work with just the engine side.

I will take whatever I can get.
