Some identification help please

Post by Gaslight »

So over the weekend while doing a master cylinder on my truck I discovered this jumper tucked up and out of the way. I have not looked into running the wires down yet. But the jumper almost looks factory.

Anyone able to ID what is happening here?

Thank you

Jake

If you have a manual trans it might bypass the neutral safety switch.

No manual. 360 with a C6. I am hoping to get the chance in the next day or so to trace wires. But its a mystery.

Thank you. I did not get a chance to investigate further last night. But I will take a look there first.

So I have the same wire that came out of my truck. I have the same engine and transmission as you also (automatic C6 360/390). My neutral safety switch has been taken out of play for quite some time now and I am in the process of rewiring a lot of things; mainly my exterior lights, some burnt up ignition wiring and everything in the engine compartment. But that is factory and it is to do with your neutral safety switch, I do know that much. Since I don't have my stock wires still in place, please update the post when you do figure out where they go to exactly. Pictures help a bunch. thank you
